It is a great place! We decided that those that could not be pleased must have been from California.
Wait staff excellent! Cook, not so much. Had to add a lot of salt and pepper to get any flavor. Fried potatoes tasted like boiled. Asked for very crispy bacon because I can't stomach the texture of the uncooked fat. Despite the waitress getting him to try again, it still wasn't crisp. Wait staff 5 star. Cook 2.
Small family run local breakfast hangout. Didn't expext fast service in a laid back town like Alpine, so wasn't surprised at the slow service. I was, however, surprised at the fact that our food was cold. The biscuits and gravy were good, though the gravy was cold. Coffee was hot, though :)
Love this place! All the way from Brazil I brought my friends too! It has a rustic charm and warm friendly service with great American and healthy food.
Solid delicious breakfast with on-site bakery. Surprisingly diverse breakfast offerings with a French country flavor. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, not too crowded. Juuuust right!
We are so glad we did. The food was great, the service was outstanding and the prices were more than fair.
Since 3 of the first 4 reviews listed were not very good we almost did not try it. However because of its convenience to the Holland Hotel where we stayed we decided to give it a shot.
It is also in a cool old building with creaky wood floors and a metal ceiling.
