Out in the middle of nowhere. Gas station and a few items in the store. The Hallie Stillwell Museum there is very interesting if you're a history buff. She was an impressive lady!
Amazing place to camp. Great views, big campsites, store, fuel, restrooms/showers, everything you need. Highly recommend.
Camping at Stillwell is remote & peaceful. It's a great option for camping if the park is full. The store has a variety of food, camping & hiking items available for purchase along with a nice selection of local rocks. A bath house with showers & a restroom are available to guests. RV hookups & cabins are also offered. Make sure to see the Hallie Stillwell museum while you're there.
We have stayed here a couple times and will be back again.
A quiet place to stop and visit Big Bend. Tent and RV camping available.
