It's super nice, untill basic nessicitys for a univirsity turn off. Ie: water, power, internet, and sometimes food. Got to love these, weekly situations we find ourselfs in .

I received my BA December 1971 Sociology/education. Education minor as that was where the psychology classes were. As a group sociology majors were not popular doing this and had to complete onerous education classes as well. As a recent veteran I was motivated and completed my degree in about half the normal time. Then went on to work on my MA in political science while a teaching and research assistant. I taught both sociology and political science. Fact is the majority of time I taught half the sociology courses while Dr. Snodgrass taught the upper level courses. In political science I worked with Dr. Hazelwood and Mr. Christopherson. Those three influenced my academic life and beyond. I did teach some courses as an instructor for SRSU Eagle Pass under Dr. Panels tuteledge. This I did while working as a supervisor for the Social Security Administration. Looking back my time at Sul Ross were rewarding. I was able to get veterans permission to live off campus and was active in other areas. Learned to love and appreciate the Big Bend.

Current student and love it! Small classes and a great range of wildlife around.

Sul Ross was a great place to get my B.S. The campus was always evolving & growing. I remember the class sizes were perfect, in my opinion. The professors I had & got to know well, made a lasting impression on me.

Cheapest college in Texas but bachelors takes 6 years here. They have to make their money some how. Save up and go to a proper college
