To get there, come up the Old Ore Road from the south end about 6 miles, turn right @ the sign and park @ the end of the road. Hike up the wash about 1/2 mile. You'll need a high clearance vehicle. "Tinaja" means "earthen jar".

Parking lot is accessible after a six mile drive from the southern terminus of Old Ore Road. The road would be passable in a normal car, but it would be a rough drive. A truck or SUV is recommended. Short half mile hike back to the Tinaja area and you can hike further back into the canyon, but requires navigating some large rock formations.

Place is dope

Очень красивые горы, ущелье и небольшие водоемы в камнях

I've been there a number of times, and it has always had water in it. The rock around is volcanic and very twisted.

The drive down into the canyon is not too bad and defiantly worth it. Really cool canyon to walk down, and a nice place with SHADE which was nice to be in when visiting Big Bend
