Everything in Alpine is 5 minutes down the road. This place was clean, comfortable and affordable. Nothing fancy but cozy. The keeper was super flexible with our change in plans and very nice. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay if you are just passing by or staying a few days in town. Staff was friendly. And the best part I didn't had to get another room we all were allowed to stay in the same room .

Me and my fiancee were taking a trip to Big Bend Ranch State Park and needed a place to spend the night on the way. All the big hotels in the area were full (Spring Break + Oilfield) so I made reservations with Mike, the owner of La Loma. We got there late and Mike checked us in. He is was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot, we felt safe, and overall it was a great room for a great rate. I will say, it is nothing like a Holiday Inn Express, but that does not mean it is bad. Just plain and functional, almost utilitarian. I would recommend this motel to any traveler; esp. those on a budget, and those headed to Big Bend.
