You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a quick, clean, cheap place to shower and sleep, this is your place. Front desk was gone off the premises between 230-4pm, so don't try to check in early. Me and 3 other families were waiting outside in our cars for her to come back as no one else could even assist us until she returned. Housekeeping had left some food from the previous guest in the fridge so it smelt terrible around that area of the room. We tried to eat at Penny's Restaurant but they were so backed up we just ended up walking out without ever receiving our meal (along with several other families that choose to leave or never even attempt to sit at all.) BUT like I said we didn't want to spend $100+ for a room we were only in for 9 hrs. Plus they allow pets so it was nice to be able to take my pup. Simple clean quiet hotel, good shower and good bed for a decent rate.
Bathroom was not very clean. They found a new and innovative use for the ice bucket lid when it isnt covering ice you might put in a drink later... Yes. That thing on the floor holding the door open is the ice bucket lid. There were at least 8 other doors being held open just like that. Disgusting.
The room was nice, but the bathroom could use a little bit more cleaning. Hard water stains in the shower. It was odd that you check in at the Diner and that they didn't collect payment until check out, which was also at Diner.
Good little 24hr diner in an area where options after 8pm are very limited. For diner food, it was great. We didn't have to wait too long for our food but it was a little busy with only one person really working that night. But, he did an excellent job!
Rooms were filthy. Nail clippings on the floor. Room had not been cleaned or dusted in months. Head board was barley attached to wall. Room a/c unit on a motion detector and couldn't keep room cool unless someone kept moving. Thankful staff member Chris was understanding and helped us cancel room with no penalties due to the status of room. Lucky there was another facility that had vacancy.
