We booked a room at the maverick inn a few months ahead of time. I made a few mistakes that made our trip a bust, but staying at maverick inn was no mistake. I would suggest arriving before 10 pm, the late check in policy left me feeling a little bit uncomfortable. They have solid separate rooms, and decent amenities for a 2 star hotel. We had to leave a day early, again because I made some mistakes in planning. The staff was very nice and understanding, and after we left they found someone else to stay in the room and refunded one nights worth of our money back to us. Every time I will be coming to Alpine tx, I will most certainly be staying at The Maverick Inn. They definitely won my business
This is absolutely our favorite place to stay each year before we head in to Big Bend National Park to camp during Thanksgiving. Great rustic rooms full of old world charm with a very friendly staff. Very close to the few restaurants in town.
Cozy rooms and a friendly atmosphere. Walls are thin so be hopeful you don't get loud neighbors.
Really high quality rooms and a great staff. Unique style and experience - definitely the place I'll be staying every time I'm in Alpine. Only downside is the proximity to the heavily used train track, with its 3 am train horns.
Over priced 2 star motel. Noisy, on busy street. Pet friendly for $25 extra. I feel cheated.
