Didn't look like much from the outside. It almost looked abandoned. We decided to go in and try it anyway and so glad we did! We chose the buffet and they offered to make us anything fresh. My eight year old loved it and said the food was so fresh and bursting with flavor.
The buffet was fresh and very good. I loved the spicy shrimp. Very clean. Friendly service. We will definitely come back next time we are in Alpine, Texas
I would say one thing that is it would be nice if they sold some more Chinese comfort food there. The owners kids where having there lunch there and they where eating some type of noodles broth with vegetables that's not on the menu and it looked really good!
Great food and people after reading reviews about the buffet vs menu and going there and seeing what they had we did both. The buffet was great everything that I had was fresh tasting!
Sweet and sour chicken was great, Jalapeno chicken was something new that I never had but really liked. We tried a little of everything and made our minds up that this is the Chinese restaurant we are going to go! Saying a lot since we have lived in Chicago, California and ate at China Town a lot at both places.
The buffet is ok. Honey chicken & the dumplings are wonderful, however their menu can rival any big city restaurant. I normally get the vegetable fried rice and it is phenomenal! Their honey chicken (either on the menu or buffet) is by far the best I've eaten. Service is very quick and friendly!
We area family of 5 from out of town and asked at our hotel if there was a Chinese restaurant in town. This place is wonderful. We walked in 1 hour before closing and wanted the buffet. They had a small amount of everything out but asked us what items we would like, then brought out the items requested. They were very nice and the food was great.
